PERSONAL CARE is intended for those who should not live alone and require a little extra help with daily living tasks, but not the regimented constant care, supervision or medical services of a nursing facility. Our 24 hour staff is known for attentive, personal service and they meet the residents’ needs in a warm and courteous manner. To assure the quality of care, our staffing ratio is higher than required by our licensing agency. This lifestyle provides a sense of security and peace of mind for loved ones.

Independence is encouraged but personal assistance may include any or all of the following: bathing, dressing, grooming, medications, supervised walking and help with making medical appointments. Other benefits are an exercise program and regular health monitoring.

All utilities, emergency call system (excludes telephone charges), cable TV, weekly housekeeping, towels and weekly bed linens, personal laundry, maintenance, security and planned activities.

The apartments feature a spacious private bath, large walk-in closet and kitchenette with a refrigerator.

Common areas consist of comfortable lounges with fireplace, activity room, fitness area, beauty salon and dining room.

Wellington Terrace offers 36 hotel-style skilled nursing care/ rehabilitation accommodations which provide our long and short term stay residents with the medical attention they need without leaving the community. The units incorporate the latest designs in rehabilitation health care with large, gracious, private accommodations, all located on the first floor. Each unit has its own bath with 5 ft. shower. The spaciousness allows singles or couples to comfortably reside while being surrounded by some of their personal furniture and cherished possessions. Common areas feature an inviting lounge, activity areas, a well appointed dining room, beauty salon, patio and landscaped garden. Wellington Terrace has received a "Five-Star Rating" placing us within the top 10th percentile of all 772 nursing homes in Pennsylvania and one of only 3 nursing homes receiving this rating in Chester County.
